All findings, unless specified otherwise, are
sterling silver. We do not commonly work with gold due to the
expense, however if you desire to have a piece made with gold, we'd
be happy to oblige with the understanding that the price is
considerably higher!
Gemstones may be treated in various ways (i.e.
Citrine may be heated and some turquoise stabilized) but we try to use no dyed stones unless they
are misrepresented to us or we tell you in the product description.
An exception to this is red coral. Due to the rarity of true,
natural red coral and the subsequent high price, we
have chosen to use only dyed coral. If you note otherwise on
any of our pieces, please let us know and we will change
suppliers!
Pearls used in our jewelry are cultured freshwater
pearls. White pearls are commonly bleached. Peach and mauve
are natural colors and we are told that our supply of these are not
dyed. Any other colors that
we use are dyed.
All items are customizable...meaning if you want lever
back earrings rather than the pictured shepherd's hook style or a
different clasp, we'd be
happy to make the change. Most pieces can be made longer or
shorter, though there are exceptions. Simply contact us to find
out for sure. We also do custom orders with specific stones,
styles, metals, etc. Wedding parties, gifts, and favors are a
specialty.
Invariably, the question about repairs and warranties
comes up. Understanding that there is nothing quite so devastating
as a lost favorite earring or a broken necklace, we happily do repairs
on all items made by us. Usually the charges are quite small,
covering postage and any materials used. We can make no
guarantee as to the life of any piece due to wearer variables, and as a result cannot
offer a warranty. We do understand that repeat customers and
referrals are based upon creating a quality product, and strive to make
very wearable jewelry. If you do have problems with a piece,
